The Basket List

I love lists. I also love the phrase “going to hell in a handbasket.” Hence a Basket list. Some of the things I want to do and some of the things I’m really proud of doing now that I’m back in the driver’s seat of my life.

To Do Done Notes

Start a blog October 2012 Inspired by FoodBuzz Blogger Conference & Resurrected for IFBC 2016
Drive two hours to attend an event by myself December 2012
Lucero Winter Crush
Totally worth it. Great olive oil, food, drink and a really nice live band.

Replace my carpet with tile
Go back to Spain
Attend my High School reunion
Sing in a choir again 2013 I briefly joined the Threshold Choir, which provides musical therapy for hospice clients. I had to give this up because of my schedule, but it was nice to be part of a group again, albeit briefly.

Get my PhD
Get sprinklers fixed and yard landscaped Summer 2014 Just in time for a major drought to hit Northern California. Oh well. they’re done.
Redo kitchen

Ladies camping trip  Summer 2014, Summer 2015 I’ve gone camping several times since my split- always with my girlfriends!
Go to New Orleans  May 2015 Originally planned as a trip with my Mother Outlaw, my mom ended up coming too. Amazing experience. Can’t wait to go back!
Do a month Spanish immersion class in Mexico

What’s on your bucket/basket list? What should I do next?
