The Basket List

I love lists. I also love the phrase “going to hell in a handbasket.” Hence a Basket list. Some of the things I want to do and some of the things I’m really proud of doing now that I’m back in the driver’s seat of my life.

To Do Done Notes
Spend a weekend in San Francisco, not just for work July 2012 Amazing experience. I’ve been back since, too!
Start a blog October 2012 Inspired by FoodBuzz Blogger Conference & Resurrected for IFBC 2016
Drive two hours to attend an event by myself December 2012
Lucero Winter Crush
Totally worth it. Great olive oil, food, drink and a really nice live band.
Great way to spend the day!
Replace my carpet with tile  February 2018 Adhesive vinyl tile is the bomb diggity!
Go back to Spain
Attend my High School reunion Apparently we need to plan a reunion in order to attend one. I had a blast at my 20 year college reunion in June 2017 though!
Sing in a choir again 2013 I briefly joined the Threshold Choir, which provides musical therapy for hospice clients. I had to give this up because of my schedule, but it was nice to be part of a group again, albeit briefly.
Take Sister Rose’s media course
Get my PhD
Get sprinklers fixed and yard landscaped Summer 2014 Just in time for a major drought to hit Northern California. Oh well. they’re done.
Redo kitchen Spring 2021 Oh my goodness, what a difference. I think I hit COVID BINGO with all the nesting we’ve done.
Learn to ride a motorcycle
Ladies camping trip  Summer 2014, Summer 2015 I’ve gone camping several times since my split- always a great time!
 Go to New Orleans  May 2015 Originally planned as a trip with my Mother Outlaw, my mom ended up coming too. Amazing experience. Can’t wait to go back!Went back in October 2018- Voodoo Festival Baby!
 Go to Alaska June 2019 Attended IFBC in Junea, Alaska. It was an incredible experience. So much fun and AMAZING scenery.
